Thirsty Thursday–Tipsy Nutella Cocoa

Oh I missed my Thirsty Thursday posts! How are yall? Cold? Thirsty? Don’t you worry, I’ve got the absolute perfect cocktail to keep you warm on those cold winter nights!

I love a hot toddy, I love a good tea, really I love anything that will warm my bones when I get so cold that no leggings or blankets or UGGs can warm me. Today as I sat shivering in my house that has magically transformed into the arctic, watching the weatherman tell me that it was getting down into the low 50s this week, I know, I cant even, whatever. I turned to Pinterest in the hopes of finding something, really ANYTHING, that will keep me toasty. There among the margaritas and mojitos I found this baby:

Yes you read right, Tipsy Nutella Cocoa

I KNOW.

So how do we make it? Well first off, you need marshmallow vodka. Personally I prefer Smirnoff over Pinacle when it comes to marshmallow but whatevs. Next you need Nutella and milk, for those of you like myself who are lactose intolerant you can substitute in a soy milk or and almond milk, whichever you prefer. Got all of your ingredients? Good let’s get started. Combine in a saucepan (like what you make soup in):

  • 3 cups of your choice of milk
  • ¼ cup of Nutella
  • ⅜-1/2 cup Smirnoff Fluffed Marshmallow Vodka or more, whatever.

Heat ingredients on low, continuously stirring until the Nutella has melted and the mixture is hot.

Pour into a mug, top with whipped cream or a marshmallow or just leave it plain! Stay warm babies!
